Membership Site Models

There a many membership site models, I just want to cover 3 main ones.

The first model is called simple membership site model. Its set up in a way where people can pay a monthly fee to access the information on the website or forum. The problem with this model is that people can log in an get all the info they are after and unsubscribe (unless its a forum where information is brought in constantly).

The second model is sequential membership site model. In this model all the information is laid out in classes and has a sequential order. The subscriber gets emails with the link to the content on regular bases (weekly or monthly). This is a really good model, however some people want to access more eclasses due to theirlearning desire. So it can get a little time consuming to manage.

The third model is the one where people get to see a part of the information as a tease and have to subscribe to see the rest. This works really well and I am currently researching the implementation of this model.

I am a membership site web designer and have been doing this for over 2 years. if you need a membership site, please contact me.

Membership Site Web Design

Membership site web design is all about being able to create the infrastructure to support paid subscriptions.

The most common model uses software called amember to manage the clients and their payments, whilst the payments go through paypal.

This allows to control each of the members individually.

There are many models for membership sites and I will try to explain a few of them on this blog.
